So when do we actually schedule our newborn session?
The sooner the better! I usually suggest booking your session during your second trimester. That way I can get your due date on the calendar. Once your baby arrives, please call me so we can set a firm date for the session.
Where will my session take place?
Your session can take place in my home studio or on-location, except newborns as they will take place in my home studio.
When is my session fee due?
Your session fee is due within seven days of booking your session to reserve your session date and lock in current rates.
When will my proofs be ready to view?
Within 2 weeks following session, you will be able to view your proofs in a private online gallery
When will I receive my portraits?
Please allow 4-6 weeks for your order to be delivered to you, specialty items could take longer
Do you except debit/credit cards?
Yes, I accept debit/credit cards
When should I book my maternity session?
It's best to schedule your maternity session when you are about 33-36 weeks. This is when you have that nice round belly
When should I schedule the newborn session?
For newborns it is best to photograph them when they under 14 days if possible.
How long does a newborn session last?
It takes extra time to get those sweet little poses and all the details just right. Sessions typically last up to 4-5 hours. This allows time for breaks to feed and soothe the baby.
Do you provide the props or do we need to buy some?
I have more props then I know what to do with, so I would not worry about bringing any props, unless there is something of sentimental value or special for the session

Yes, I offer several different collections to fit everyones budget

When is the best time of day for outdoor sessions?
Usually 1.5 hours before sunset during the golden hour, this light is more flattering on skin and hair
Do you shoot weddings?
No, I am not shooting weddings at this time, but I would be glad to refer you to a wedding photographer
What if the weather is bad on the day of my session?
If I feel like I will not be able to give you the session you are expecting, I will contact you as soon as possible and I will work with you to find another time to reschedule
Can I scan or alter the pictures from my session?
No, Pics-By-Mic retains copyright of all images taken at your session. Scanning or printing images from your session are a violation of Federal Copyright Law (even after you have purchased them). Scanning is not only illegal, but screen-printing and scanned images distort and devalue my work. Please respect my work and livelihood, and do not illegally reproduce any of the images from your session. Simply put: don't steal, it's not nice!
